Position Overview: The Assistant Site Manager will support the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations at our steel mill. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on safety, and a proactive approach to operational efficiency. The Assistant Site Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the steel mill.
  
• Supervise staff and coordinate activities to ensure production targets are met.
  
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  
• Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance and quality control, to optimize production processes.
  
• Analyze production data and contribute to reports for management review.
  
• Participate in staff training and development programs.
  
• Fill in for the Site Manager as needed, including handling decision-making and reporting responsibilities.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
    
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the steel industry.
    
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance.
    
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting software
