actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance
Technician to join and grow in the PPG organization. The
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the
continuous operation and optimal performance of all production,
tooling, development, inspection, and facilities machines and
equipment. Primary duties will include conducting routine
inspections, identifying, and troubleshooting equipment
malfunctions, and performing preventative and corrective
maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate
closely with department supervisors to minimize downtime, schedule
repairs, and increase equipment efficiency. In addition, they will
maintain accurate maintenance records as needed, and adhere to all
safety protocols and procedures. To be successful in this role your
commitment to maintain a well-functioning and reliable production
environment is essential.Requirements:Perform routine inspections
and maintenance tasks on, but not limited to: EDM, CNC, Lathes,
Manual Mills, Surface Grinders, Snag Grinders, Water Jets, and Air
HandlersIdentify, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and/or schedule a
repair to minimize downtime on machines and equipmentPrioritize
tasks and respond promptly to emergency or critical maintenance
tasksMaintain a safe and clean work areaPerform general electrical
work on facilities and equipmentRepair/replace broken, faulty, or
leaking plumbingAssist in the installation or removal of new and
used equipmentPerform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend
the lifespan of the machinesIdentify safety concerns and inform the
Facilities ManagerAssist with facilities projects or
improvementsOperate forklift and scissor lift to complete
maintenance tasks (after completion of forklift safety
training)Modify and fabricate parts by use of welding, cutting,
grinding, milling, and lathe workPerform other work-related duties
as assignedKnowledge, skills, and abilitiesProven experience as a
Maintenance Technician in a production environmentHigh school
diploma or equivalentStrong understanding of mechanical,
electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsAbility to work with
various hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance
tasksMust be proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment
issuesMust be able to climb, bend, lay, kneel, stand for extended
periods of time, and work from ladders or liftsLift up to 75 lbs.
