Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coding Supervisor who will
oversee coding teams and ensure compliance with coding
standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training and initial QA reviews for coding staff
Review clinical documentation to apply appropriate ICD-10 and
CPT/PCS codes
Facilitate daily work assignments and support coders with
inquiries
Required Qualifications
University degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant
experience
3 years of medical coding experience
Must maintain relevant coding credentials (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC,
COC)
Strong knowledge of Federal & State Coding Regulations and
Guidelines
Supervisor experience is required
