Job Description:

Position: Senior Tax Associate Cleveland area Hybrid work - 2 days in office Salary- $90,000 - $100,000 + profit sharing + $5,000 - $20,000+ in commissions + full benefits Our client is one of the most reputable full service CPA firms in Northeastern OH. They are looking for a strong Tax Associate with excellent client contact skills, both in-person and virtually, who can help clients navigate an ever-changing accounting landscape. They provide traditional services such as financial statements, auditing and tax preparation. They also offer consulting services allowing clients to make proper business decisions including major items such as business formation, expansion, and retirement, as well as daily operating concerns. They have specific areas of technical concentration such as taxation, financial planning, business valuation, operational controls, loan procurement and forecasting. What you need for this position:

• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns for federal, state and city taxes
• Excellent client contact skills, both in-person and virtually
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a CPA firm
• Mastery use of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, and various spreadsheet programs
• Experience in financial statement preparation and processing payroll, including processing electronic reporting through government sites, is a plus
  
• Experience in audit and attestation (audit candidates only)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA, pursuing your CPA, or equivalent experience
• Associate degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
